    Thanks for visiting. I’ve enjoyed reading your blog.

    I started Cha Shao Bao to keep myself connected to the Chinese blogosphere, which I find fascinating.

    I don’t cover fixed topics (like, for example, shopping and fashion), but rather, I write about anything that pertains to China that I think about, encounter or experience on a daily basis. Since I’m minoring in East Asian Studies and spend a great deal of time studying Chinese and learning about China, my writings naturally gravitate towards China in my academic life.
