Computer crashed

My Powerbook G4 crashed this morning while I was in the middle of writing the final paper for my journalism class, which was due today. That caused a bit of a panic.

Luckily, I remembered that I’d sent an earlier draft of the paper to my professor using Gmail, so I recovered that document and got back to work quickly.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with the computer. All of the applications stopped responding and I couldn’t open up the restart menu. I did a manual shutdown, and when I tried to start the computer back up nothing happened.

I dropped it off at a repair center, and hopefully they’ll be able to fix it in a day or so.
